To celebrate the holiday season, CHANEL showcases the rarest interpretation of the iconic scent in its most precious form. N°5 Parfum is housed in a monumental Baccarat crystal bottle, crafted entirely by hand using the finest techniques and a unique expertise. Remaining true to the original design, the flacon is adorned with a white label and topped with a faceted cabochon that recalls the shape of Place Vendôme. A dipped-leather case displays the creation like a jewel, while the accompanying Baccarat crystal applicator offers a one-of-a-kind experience.

Each of the 55 exquisite custom pieces is numbered and engraved, like a work of art.

In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to develop a “woman’s perfume, with a woman’s scent.” The perfumer presented her with a visionary expression that made unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample and decided to call it simply N°5. Its singular composition, along with the austerity of the name and bottle, revolutionized the history of fragrance and has gone on to achieve cult status.
